Ok, been off line for a month (life is busy). Can someone update me on the current and or new mech mods worth considering? My K100 is fine, but I want a back up. I found a good deal on the KTS Telescopic Storm with Gold and Chrome FLAT TOP, but really don't know much about it. It doesn't have to be telescopic, as long as a 500 and 650 tube were available for it.
Whats new and/or hot on the mech market?

Just got a KTS Storm yesterday. It is my first mec mod and so far I'm loving it. It has opened a whole new world in MODs for me. I have 12 other MODs but all of them are vv or vv vws. This KTS storm looks so nice right now but I have read that the gold wears off in time but out of the box it looks just awesome. I'm useing a 18650 battery in it right now which gives it a nice weight and feel to it and it fits really well in my hand. It is taking a little getting use to the fire button being on the bottom but it take just a little pressure to fire. I am already looking for my next Mec mod. LOL. I have a few RBAs nothing high end but they seam to work well on it. Even my Protank are preforming really good. Well that is my input on the KTS Storm.

Kts storm is an awesome mechanical mod for the price. I have the two tone with the tapered top and love it. Although I would like to explore some other mechanicals, I can't get it out of my head that I want to buy one of the chrome version from fasttech for about 17.50 just as a spare. The plating is quite worn on mine but it doesn't bother me. The two tone does look really sharp when it's new.

My latest purchase and current favorite is the GP PAPS LUX. It's on the pricey side but I have to give it top marks for performance, form factor and looks.

If you don't mind doing a little modding the Sigelei 19 is a fun and cheap bottom button telescopic. You can mod it with brass pieces for less voltage loss or do what I did and rearrange the magnets for an actual magnetic switch.
I have a China GG from Hoosier Vapes.. I would not recommend it, despite the price.

It's hard to keep track anymore. The current high end "flavor of the week" is the Nemesis. Everybody is after one, it seems. Next week, it'll be something else, I reckon. Good to see you back.

I order one of the Chintinel from VaporBreak:
Sentinel Mechanical Mod - VaporBreak
But, the hottest budget mech is still Sig #19:
Sigelei #19b telescoping mod
Sigelei #19 Made of Copper <---- brass
Use coupon code VAPORJOE5OFF to bring the price down to $31.34Good prices on other Sig #'s: Mods
For a mid-priced mech, a MKB-TS is a good option:
MOV MKB-TS (GGTS Clone) use coupon code JUNESAVE to bring the price down to $53.99Personally, I'm waiting for an EA or nimbus clone to come out in the US.
how long does vaporbreak take to ship? i just ordered one of the sentinel clones thanks for the link hopefully i can find somewhere i can get copper contact pins from any idea
?

Sigelei and other Chinese vendors are starting to listen to vapers a little more than just copying the superficial looks. Cosmetics does sell but do they function? So they put brass contacts and caps and springs.
Good to see. i.e.
MKBTS although imo it is for GGTS fans with that huge collector tank... a stealth cap from Stormy's can be had, but for the price of the MKBTS, it adds $25 plus you put aside that collector tank. IMO it turns it into an EA clone....
Speaking of the EA clone, its out too; with brass contacts.
Sig #8 with brass is out.
btw, unmodded these have been showing a .8 voltage drop... loaded. Still a good vape with RBA's (and haven't recieved my EA clone yet).
The K100 showed a .4v drop unmodded... still ahead of the game imo.
chinese rda drippers with 2 and 3 posts are kickbutt and a bargain imo...FWIW

If you are a dripper now is a very good time to be buying for sure. There are so many well performing, cheap, RDAs out there now available from state side vendors like Hoosier, SunVapers, Kidney Puncher and so on.
For anywhere in the $12-20 range you can really get some decent RDAs....even cheaper if you are willing to go the Fastech route. Personally, I dont mind paying a little extra for getting mine from vendors in the States..but that a six of one, half dozen of the other kinda thing.
